The Sparrow replacement for iPhone has arrived

Editor’s Note: I don’t use an iPhone, but many of my readers do. So, from time to time I recruit other writers to add to the conversation by providing iPhone-related posts:
TASKBOX - “Your inbox is now a Taskbox”
Overview:
What is the single most important or time sensitive  message in your email mailbox today?  Is that message at the top of your inbox?  Or is the message at the top of your list a Groupon offer for free trapeze lessons?  Taskbox gives you control over email by turning your inbox into a task list, or as they like to say – a Taskbox. Taskbox helps you clear your inbox and update your task list in 60 seconds.

Taskbox’s flagship product, Taskbox Mail, is an advanced mobile email client – think of MS Outlook for your iPhone.  Taskbox Mail helps you do two things very well:

1 – Clear out your inbox - At their desks, 80% of users move every message that comes into their inbox into a folder or label.  And yet on their mobile phones only 10% execute the same behavior.  Taskbox makes it faster and easier to clear your inbox and move messages to folders for later follow up while on the go.

2 – Prioritize your follow up items - By adding task management functionality to our email client, Taskbox allows you to ensure the most important messages are at the top of your list.  We support priorities, due dates, assignments, response templates and more.

The Taskbox team launched a Kickstarter campaign this past Friday, and is currently raising funds to create Android and web-based versions of the product. You can find out more about the app’s functionality, as well as the team’s overall vision here:
