We have been running the new publishing model for just over seven months now and it is both more successful and less than I had hoped. The Premium Content Weekly Letter is doing pretty well, with good interaction from the subscribers with regard to content and Q & A.
The Monthly Letter had a few subscribers, but they were too busy for the long-form format and back-and-forth required for the micro-coaching. So the Monthly Letter has been discontinued.
The most successful, and most fun for me, is the ICMM Accountability newsletter, which now goes out on Wednesdays, has a good number of subs that grows every week. We are building a support group for our professional and creative work on Google Plus (slowly but surely!), and there is fantastic feedback and encouragement going on.
