Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce Member Mingle
April 25, 2009 in Business Development
We had a pretty good turnout for the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce Member Mingle on Friday, 24 April, at Club 59 Steakhouse in Wolfeboro, NH. The event was a fund-raiser for the Chamber Educational Scholarship.
I enjoy these events immensely, especially since I am getting to meet a lot of new people. This event was special in that the Chamber presented two annual awards. Some tasty food was donated by some of the local restaurants, including:
Club 59 Steakhouse
Garwoods Restaurant & Pub
Huggins Hospital Coffee Shop
Jo Green’s Garden Cafe
Morrisey’s Front Porch
The Restaurant
The Wolfeboro Inn
Wolfeboro Dockside Grille & Dairy Bar
Wolfetrap Grill & Raw Bar
The first award to be presented was the Beautification Award which went to Meredith Savings Bank for their work in replacing a blighted old gas station with their new branch office. Robyn Masteller was on hand to receive the award from Dr. Michael Cooper.
The second award of the evening was the General James Wolfe Award for outstanding service and dedication to the community for the benefit of present & future residents, businesses, and visitors. This award was presented to Ken Hoyt.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by the jazz trio Quarter Moon: featuring Andy Kustas on keyboard, David Young on bass, and Mike Chatigney on drums.
Great job gentlemen!
